Job Description

Coordinator - Traffic Sunoco LP is a leading energy infrastructure and fuel distribution master limited partnership operating across 32 countries and territories in North America, the Greater Caribbean, and Europe. The Partnership's midstream operations include an extensive network of approximately 14,000 miles of pipeline and over 160 terminals. This critical infrastructure complements the Partnership's fuel distribution operations, which distribute over 15 billion gallons annually to approximately 11,000 Sunoco and partner-branded retail locations, as well as independent dealers and commercial customers.

This role has a current pay range of $51,000 - $59,000. The listed pay range represents the company's good faith estimate of the minimum and maximum base rate of pay for this position at the time of this posting. The selected candidate's compensation will be determined based on their work location, qualifications, relevant experience, operational needs, demonstrated performance over time, and internal pay alignment. SummaryInitial point of contact for all truck drivers arriving at the Terminal to either load or unload trucks. Many duties and functions are included in this detail-oriented position. Performs job functions in compliance with Company Policy and Procedures.
Major Accountabilities:
Prepare and distribute Bills of Lading for all trucksRecord scale weights and loading quantityPrepare and distribute loading formsDistribute M.S.D.S. sheets and other related documents to customersVerify load and safe fill quantities quantityInput all transactions into the Accounting System (s)Monitor Terminal video surveillance equipmentOperate and Monitor facility communication equipment.

Assist in the processing of driver/customer paperwork and directing driver loading activity throughout assigned shift.

Proper resolution of driver mis-loading incidents and product quality issues.

Work within logistics group to insure that customer activity is properly accounted for.

Daily reports.

Customer paperwork and load activity.

Maintain records and files, both physical and network.

Work in cooperation with field personnel to implement measures to assure the operational integrity of the pipeline systems.

Balance to control over and short conditions, track product movements to accurately perform remote product switches into storage batch changes.

Inventory control of all systems.

Respond to all emergency conditions, making proper notifications and completing documentation.

Communicate directly with personnel, other petroleum companies and the public to coordinate operations.

Insure compliance with federal and state regulations. Reduce potential risk to public safety and environment and minimize company liability.

Noncompliance of government regulations can result in multi-million dollar fines and possible criminal penalties.

Improve operations efficiency and financial profitability through well maintained facilities.
Experience Requirements:
1 year experience preferred. Experience in industry operations preferred.
