Strong track record of promoting from within and developing employees Company vehicle or car allowance, $15,000 Life Insurance About Our Client My client is hiring for a safety director to lead the entire safety department and act as the senior safety professional for the organization in the Baltimore County region. Job Description Develop and implement safety policies and procedures for construction projects. Conduct regular safety inspections and audits to ensure compliance with regulations. Provide training sessions to employees on safety protocols and best practices. Investigate workplace incidents and recommend corrective actions. Collaborate with project managers to identify and mitigate potential risks. Maintain accurate records of safety inspections, incidents, and training programs. Ensure adherence to local, state, and federal safety regulations. Promote a proactive approach to workplace safety among all team members. The Successful Applicant A successful Safety Director should have: Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards within the construction industry. Experience managing safety programs and conducting workplace training sessions. Ability to analyze safety data and develop actionable plans for improvement. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with diverse teams. Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to safety challenges.
