  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred
  • 2-5 years of experience in the transportation or trucking industry
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities Driver Manager Preferred Background & Skills
  • Experience managing a fleet of over 30 drivers
  • Familiarity with DOT safety laws and regulatory compliance
  • Background in conducting performance reviews and interviewing candidates Driver Manager Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Provide operational leadership and daily support to a fleet of up to 40 drivers
  • Supervise, coach, and train drivers to meet company and customer service expectations
  • Monitor and ensure timely, safe deliveries by coordinating schedules and resolving issues
  • Conduct interviews, performance reviews, and implement coaching or discipline as needed
  • Advise drivers on routing, safety, and compliance with all regulations
  • Collaborate with customers to address needs, schedules, and service quality
