Transportation Coordinator

All candidates must have a valid driver's license and desire to help the elderly.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Transports residents to appointments, grocery stores, etc., as assigned by supervisor. Schedules appointments for residents in accordance with company policies. Understands how to fully operate assigned vehicle and associated equipment. Responsible for vehicle safety inspection and cleaning of the assigned vehicles. Identifies maintenance issues and reports any issues with the vehicles to Regional Director. Follows transportation schedule. Demonstrates patience and good nature when assisting residents with their transportation needs. Assists residents with mobility and transfers to and from vehicles as needed. Attends meetings as necessary. Participates in other professional development activities as required. Maintain confidentiality of verbal and written information pertaining to resident, facility operations and personnel. Other duties as assigned by Supervisor.
