We prioritize safety and quality, employing individuals who share our commitment to excellence in transportation. Summary We are seeking a Location Manager to join our Pontiac team. We're looking for a motivated, dependable leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to oversee driver operations and manage our yard operations, which include managing and selling aggregate materials. Responsibilities Assure all drivers are on task Collaborate with the shop mechanics regarding truck issues, repair status, and morning breakdowns Manage and report all driver call-offs, sick days, and scheduled time off Approve time off requests Find dirt dumps and visit job sites/customers Handle and follow up on customer requests Assist with the dispatch board - including adding customer orders and ensuring orders are getting fulfilled Provide coaching, counseling, and write-ups when necessary Oversee daily yard operations, including inventory of aggregate materials Ensure proper loading/unloading of materials and maintain yard safety standards Requirements Proven management experience in transportation or a related field Strong ability to multi-task and prioritize under pressure Dependable, punctual, and adaptable in a high-stress environment Excellent problem-solving and leadership skills Experience in aggregate material handling and yard management preferred Aggregate experience is a plus If you're ready to take the wheel in your career and lead a dedicated team at Dani's Transport, we invite you to apply today!
