Responsibilities At Post Consumer Brands, we are looking for big thinkers who are ready to make an impact. As our Corporate Transportation Manager, you will lead a talented team responsible for keeping products moving across a complex network of manufacturing sites, distribution centers, customers, and carrier partners. This is an opportunity to combine hands-on operational leadership with strategic problem-solving. You will help deliver reliable service, manage transportation costs, strengthen carrier performance, and shape logistics solutions that support continued business growth. About the Role The Corporate Transportation Manager leads the Transportation Planning team and oversees the tactical execution of transportation operations. You will serve as a trusted escalation point when transportation challenges arise, helping the team make sound decisions, maintain product flow, and keep operations moving. You will work closely with teams across Supply Chain, Customer Operations, Supply Planning, Finance, Procurement, Warehousing, Plant Operations, Sourcing, and network optimization. The work is fast-moving and highly visible, offering the opportunity to solve immediate business challenges while advancing longer-term transportation strategies. Key Responsibilities Lead, coach, and develop a team of Transportation Planners, including hiring, goal setting, training, performance management, and daily execution. Build strong relationships with carrier partners and internal stakeholders across customer service, warehousing, plant operations, sourcing, and supply chain. Ensure sufficient transportation capacity for shipments from manufacturing plants to distribution centers and from distribution centers to customers. Establish, monitor, and improve transportation cost and service performance indicators. Analyze carrier, lane, capacity, and customer challenges and translate insights into practical solutions. Partner with Procurement to identify transportation partners that meet short-term and long-term network needs. Develop strategies that reduce the impact of market disruptions and communicate cost and service implications to leadership. Create transportation plans that support network changes, including site start-ups, production shifts, and customer realignments. Use transportation management systems, reporting tools, and enterprise systems to improve execution and decision-making. Promote safe, compliant transportation operations that align with company policies, contracts, government regulations, and applicable laws. Qualifications What We're Looking For A four-year degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field. At least five years of relevant industry experience. At least two years of people-management experience. Broad knowledge of logistics processes, transportation operations, and planning systems. Experience in consumer packaged goods, manufacturing, warehousing, transportation, or a related supply chain environment is preferred. Familiarity with transportation management systems, ERP platforms, Tableau or similar reporting tools, and other integrated planning systems. Strong financial acumen, including cost control, cost-benefit analysis, and transportation-related business decision-making. Demonstrated success leading people, building engagement, coaching others, and supporting change. Strong communication, collaboration, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills. The resilience to navigate changing priorities, address difficult issues, and make thoughtful decisions when complete information may not be available. A results-oriented approach with the ability to identify problems, set clear priorities, and move solutions forward.
