Qualifications Must have 3-5 years Tractor Trailer driving experience. Valid MO or IL Driver's License and CDL. Must be DOT certified. Must maintain personal auto insurance. Ability to communicate effectively in English, both orally and in writing. Ability to operate a truck per motor vehicle operator's manual in MO and IL. Primary Duties/Responsibilities Supervise Transportation. Ensures there is sufficient staff to support retail transportation needs and provide services to retail stores as needed. Maintain a system to provide transportation and collection of goods to and from agency. Helps to coordinate, and monitor Retail's donated goods, transportation, and salvage. Responsible for hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating staff. Provides and maintains services in a cost-effective manner. Ensures budgetary constraints are maintained. Registers, obtaining inspection(s) and licensing of transportation operated vehicles in compliance with state regulations and guidelines. Obtains maintenance and repair of all transportation operated
MERS/MGI
vehicles, owned, or leased. Must read, follow, and model all MERS/Goodwill policies and Goodwill Retail procedures. Responsible for recording and maintaining accurate information for the DOT, Internal Revenue Service, and other assigned reporting requirements. Performs other duties as assigned.
