State Hosp.-Whitfield The Role at a glance: The Culinary & Transportation Manager is responsible for coordinating daily activities between the culinary and transportation teams to ensure quality metrics and service standards are consistently achieved. This hands-on role requires excellent communication, strong organizational skills, and a customer-focused approach to proactively resolve operational challenges while supporting exceptional service delivery. What you'll be doing:- Coordinate daily operations between Culinary and Transportation departments to ensure quality and performance metrics are met.
- Monitor service execution and proactively identify and resolve operational issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding to client needs and offering effective solutions.
- Communicate effectively with managers, team members, and clients to ensure seamless operations.
- Support food delivery logistics and transportation as needed, including driving a delivery van when required.
- Maintain compliance with food safety and sanitation standards.
- Utilize computer systems to document activities, communicate updates, and complete operational reporting.
- Work independently while effectively prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
- Assist with other operational duties as assigned. What we're looking for:
- High-volume food service, hospitality, healthcare, or logistics experience required.
- ServSafe Certification required (or ability to obtain within a specified timeframe).
- Valid driver's license with the ability to safely operate a delivery van.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and other business applications.
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to load, unload, and transport food and supplies as needed.
Schedule Requirements:
- Operation is open seven days a week.
- Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.
- Schedule flexibility is required, with shifts that may begin as early as 4:00 AM or end as late as 8:00 PM.
