In this role, you will oversee the safe and efficient flow of vehicles and personnel, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project timelines. Your leadership will be vital in maintaining a secure work environment while facilitating smooth site access for all stakeholders. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your management skills and construction site experience in a supervisory capacity, contributing to successful project completion. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate traffic control activities, including setting up signage, barriers, and flagging procedures to direct vehicle and pedestrian movement on construction sites. Ensure all traffic control measures comply with local safety standards and regulations, including OSHA guidelines. Lead a team of traffic control personnel, providing training, guidance, and performance feedback to uphold safety and operational standards. Collaborate with construction managers, contractors, and utility locating teams to facilitate safe site access and minimize disruptions. Conduct regular safety inspections of traffic control setups and equipment to identify hazards or maintenance needs. Maintain detailed records of traffic management activities, incidents, and equipment usage for reporting purposes. Qualifications Strong understanding of traffic control procedures and safety protocols in construction environments. Excellent leadership skills with the ability to supervise teams effectively while maintaining high safety standards. Prior experience in traffic control set up and management is highly desirable. Valid certifications related to traffic control are preferred.
