Supervisor - Track Repair Location 902 NC HWY 211 East, Candor, NC, 27229, United States Description Cranemasters is seeking a skilled and safety-focused Supervisor to lead and manage field crews supporting derailment response, railcar repair, load adjustment/transfer, and track maintenance and construction projects. This role is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining high-quality standards, and delivering exceptional service to railroad customers and regulatory stakeholders. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and assign daily work to field crews
  • Lead safety briefings and enforce PPE, FRA, DOT, and company standards
  • Oversee project execution, including hands-on work and equipment operation
  • Maintain strong communication with customers and regulatory agencies
  • Submit accurate payroll, equipment usage, and project reports
  • Train, coach, and evaluate team members
  • Prepare job quotes (labor, equipment, logistics)
  • Monitor and maintain equipment readiness Skills/Qualifications
  • 2+ years railroad industry experience
  • Knowledge of DOT, FRA, and safety regulations
  • Strong leadership and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office and reporting systems
  • Valid driver's license (CDL A or B preferred)
  • Experience operating heavy equipment (cranes, excavators, etc.)
  • Ability to read load charts and understand rigging practices Physical Requirements
  • Outdoor work in all weather conditions
  • Frequent travel with overnight stays
