This energetic position involves coordinating transportation activities, managing dispatch operations, and utilizing advanced transportation management systems to optimize delivery schedules. Duties Coordinate and schedule freight pickups and deliveries using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine. Utilize GPS and GIS tools to monitor vehicle locations, optimize routes, and ensure timely deliveries. Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and warehouse teams via multi-line phone systems, ensuring clear instructions and updates. Maintain accurate data entry of shipment details, delivery statuses, and dispatch logs using AS400 or similar platforms. Oversee shipping & receiving processes, ensuring compliance with safety standards and company policies. Analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for efficiency improvements within the supply chain. Manage fleet operations through fleet management software, ensuring vehicle availability and maintenance scheduling. Requirements DOT information Valid Insurance Box truck, van, Hot shot, Dry van trailer, Flatbed trailer
