TransAm Trucking seeks CDL-A Independent Contractor Truck Drivers to haul refrigerated freight across regional and over-the-road lanes. As a professional driver in our safety-focused, driver-centric culture, you'll operate late-model, temperature-controlled equipment, manage on-time pickups/deliveries, and ensure compliance with all
DOT/FMCSA

Responsibilities Operate CDL-A tractor-trailer hauling refrigerated freight on regional and OTR routes Maintain strict compliance with
DOT/FMCSA
regulations and company safety policies Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs Monitor and manage trailer temperature, seals, and cargo condition Use ELDs and onboard technology to log hours and communicate with dispatch Plan routes, manage time, and ensure on-time pickups and deliveries Practice defensive driving and maintain a strong safety and service record Collaborate with dispatch, customers, and support staff professionally Complete all required paperwork, bills of lading, and load documentation Care for assigned equipment, keeping tractor and trailer clean and road-ready Required Skills CDL-A driving Long-haul/OTR driving Refrigerated freight handling
