Terminal Manager Terminal Managers are a vital part of the management team and customer relations and are responsible for ensuring that customers' freight is delivered on time and damage free. The ideal candidate will have:
Transportation Management Experience Strong leadership qualities Desire to surround customer with excellence in service. High aptitude for technology The ability to multi-task while being detail oriented. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. An Associates or Bachelor's Degree, preferred but not required
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Transportation, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Required Experience:
Minimum 2 years managing a cross-dock terminal. Minimum 2 years managing both office and driver personnel in a trucking carrier environment. Minimum 2 years experience managing LTL truck drivers. Minimum 2 years P&L responsibility for a trucking cross-dock terminal. Minimum 2 years in a Terminal Manager (TM), Service Center Manager (SCM), or General Manager (GM) role overseeing an entire trucking facility. Solid understanding of LTL operations . Experience with transportation dispatch and operational supervision. In-depth knowledge of DOT and safety regulations.
