Job Description

Primary Responsibilities This role will involve mentoring and developing junior to mid-level engineers and technical staff, while supporting a variety of transportation-focused projects. Responsibilities include preparing traffic and parking evaluations, conducting intersection performance assessments, and developing signalization and roadway enhancement designs. The position also entails producing maintenance and traffic control plans, establishing signal timing strategies, and assembling detailed submissions for review by local and state agencies. In addition, the individual will oversee project delivery efforts, assist with land use approvals and zoning applications, perform site visits and inspections, and contribute to drainage-related analyses and reporting. With experience and guidance, this individual will be expected to represent projects in front of public agencies and stakeholders, confidently presenting technical findings at municipal, county, and state meetings. Qualifications & Experience The ideal candidate will bring a mix of technical capability, initiative, and a forward-thinking mindset. Candidates who are driven to solve problems creatively and contribute innovative ideas are highly valued.
Minimum requirements include:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license required At least 4 years of relevant experience in traffic engineering Exposure to zoning approvals and site development permitting is a plus Working knowledge of Highway Capacity Software and Synchro/SimTraffic Familiarity with DOT standards and procedures (NJDOT, NYSDOT, PennDOT preferred) If interested, please apply here!
