Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Delivery Driver Contractor to join our dynamic team! As a key player in our delivery network, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods to local and some regional customers, ensuring timely deliveries, and providing exceptional customer service. This role offers flexibility and independence, allowing you to operate your own vehicle while representing our brand with professionalism. Responsibilities Safely operate a box truck or similar vehicle to deliver goods across designated routes. Load and unload packages efficiently using equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts when necessary. Ensure accurate and timely delivery of orders while maintaining high customer satisfaction. Verify delivery details, obtain signatures, and handle any customer inquiries professionally. Follow all traffic laws and safety protocols during route driving to ensure safety for yourself and others. Maintain the cleanliness and basic maintenance of your vehicle to ensure optimal operation. Keep detailed records of deliveries, route logs, and any incidents that occur during shifts. Experience Prior 2 years min 26ft box truck delivery driver experience preferred, especially with courier or driver roles. Experience with warehouse operations, including loading, unloading, and heavy lifting. Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and operating box trucks or similar vehicles with manual transmission. Knowledge of route planning and efficient driving techniques to maximize productivity. Ability to handle physical tasks such as moving items, heavy lifting, and using equipment like pallet jacks or forklifts when required. Strong customer service skills with a professional attitude when interacting with clients. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record; must have a current dot medical card or the means to get one. experience with heavy vehicle operation is a plus.
