JOB ANNOUNCEMENT
Assistant Director of Transportation HHWP Community Action Commission, a local non-profit in Findlay, is looking for an Assistant Director of Transportation. This position is responsible for assisting the Director of Transportationin providing program oversight, leadership, and management within the Transportation Department. Assists the Director in fiscal, budgetary, and personnel oversight. Coordinates daily operations and activities at satellite locations as assigned by the Director. Provides management and supervision of assigned staff. Assists the Director in developing grants, contracts, and other revenue sources. Assists the Director in public relations activities associated with furthering the impact of public transportation services. Assist the Director in driving continuous improvement and positive community outcomes within the Transportation Department. This is a full-time, exempt position working an average of 40 hours a week.
QUALIFICATIONS
: Must be sensitive to the needs of low-income individuals and able to work with individuals of all cultural backgrounds and ages. At heart, must desire advocacy for the agency's mission to reduce the conditions of poverty.
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required at the minimum. Associate or bachelor's degree in business administration, Public Administration, Logistics, Social or Behavioral Sciences, or related field(s) will be given strong consideration.
- 5-7 years of progressive leadership experience in an organization or as a volunteer. Non-profit and/or governmental experience is preferred. Experience must include budget management/oversight. Specific experience working in logistics or transportation-related industry will be given strong consideration.
