Job Description

Driving operational excellence and strategic alignment through proactive leadership and a customer-focused approach. The Transportation Manager serves as the enterprise process owner and subject matter expert for Transportation Management Systems (TMS), with a focus on the Blue Yonder platform and ERP integrations. This role ensures efficient, scalable transportation operations by defining best practices, leading system and process initiatives, and driving continuous improvement across the organization. By partnering with cross-functional and global logistics teams, the Transportation Manager enhances productivity, ensures compliance, and champions innovation—while maintaining strong operational performance and delivering a seamless, reliable customer experience. What You'll Bring Bachelor's Degree required. Master's degree preferred. Minimum five (5) years of experience in Transportation Logistics, Operations, or related field, required. Minimum three (3) years of experience demonstrated expertise in TMS (Blue Yonder preferred), ERP (SAP preferred), and transportation rate structures (LTL, parcel, etc.), required. A3 Lean Certified, or equivalent 6 Sigma Lean certifications, preferred. In-depth understanding of business processes, strategic direction, and the relationship between transportation operations and organizational profitability. Working knowledge of Transportation Requirements, Distribution Requirements, and Planning/Materials Requirements, preferred. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to interact with and present to senior management. Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage large-scale projects. Strong organizational, follow-up, and change management skills. Strong data analysis and modeling skills; demonstrated experience with MS Office, including PowerPoint, Excel, and Access.
