Essential Functions and Duties:

perform yard check/list duties as needed to prepare for dispatch reports perform checks of fuel levels on all equipment. verify drivers are doing post trip inspections to ensure no delays in departure for drivers by performing spot checks on equipment work as a liaison between drivers/customer and our shop (on site) to verify defects are rectified in a timely manner. work with driving staff to prepare for current & future successful dispatch assignments. Review and approve loads/paperwork from the past dispatches. verify schedules to confirm we have coverage for routes complete and publish various dispatch reports for both customer & internal use. for loading as well as dispatch website perform systematic audits to ensure all loads and reporting correctly problem solve with drivers when they run into hours-of-service issues or breakdown issues perform driver interviews when needed Benefits for
