Job Objective:

To support safe, efficient traffic and access control at both the back gate and the front entrance zone. •About the Role The Island in Pigeon Forge is seeking reliable, attentive Parking & Traffic Control Attendants to support safe, efficient operations at both our front entrance and back‑lot gate . These positions are essential to guest experience, traffic flow, and vendor coordination. Attendants may be assigned to either area based on scheduling and operational needs.

Duties/Responsibilities:

The following is a list of required duties/responsibilities. Associates are not limited to this list but rather any and all reasonable requests by Team Leaders, Park Service Supervisors, and Park Service Management. Front Entrance - Traffic Control Manage traffic flow at the main entrance, including tram drop‑off and pick‑up zones Oversee bus stop activity and ensure safe loading/unloading Maintain safe pedestrian walkways and assist guests crossing high‑traffic areas Direct vehicles to appropriate parking areas during peak times Communicate with tram drivers, buses, and operations teams to keep traffic moving smoothly Provide friendly, helpful customer service to guests arriving on foot or by vehicle Back Gate - Parking Access & Deliveries Monitor and control all vehicle entry through the back gate Verify that every vehicle has an approved parking pass before entering Issue temporary parking passes and maintain accurate logs Direct drivers to designated parking or delivery locations Check in and route vendor and supply deliveries to the correct departments Maintain a clean, organized, and professional gate area Report unauthorized vehicles, safety concerns, or unusual activity This position requires associates to be on their feet in either an idle standing position or walking on tar, concrete, and various hard surfaces for the majority of their work shift. Associates must be able to lift up to 40 pounds during the regular course of their duties.

Education and Experience:

Must be at least 18 years of age.
