This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone with at least 5 years of professional landscaping experience who can take a crew to a jobsite, understand the scope of work, organize the crew, and complete the job efficiently without constant supervision from management. The ideal candidate is bilingual, dependable, experienced with landscape installation and equipment operation, and knowledgeable about plants and landscape materials. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a landscape crew on daily jobs Organize crew members and assign tasks to keep jobs productive and on schedule Work independently without requiring constant supervision Read and understand plot plans, site plans, and landscape plans Locate and understand property lines and jobsite boundaries Lay out landscape installations according to plans Operate a skid steer and mini excavator Perform light grading and site preparation Identify common plants, shrubs, and trees by name and size Properly install plant material and other landscape materials Determine material and equipment needs for jobs Monitor workmanship and ensure completed work meets company standards Communicate job progress, problems, and material needs to management Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Ensure company equipment and tools are properly used and cared for Required Qualifications Minimum 5 years of professional landscaping experience Bilingual - PREFERRED Previous experience leading and managing a landscape crew Ability to efficiently run a crew without constant supervision Experience reading plot plans and site plans Ability to locate property lines Experience operating a skid steer Experience operating a mini excavator Ability to perform light grading Strong knowledge of landscape materials and proper installation methods Knowledge of common plant names and plant sizes Ability to organize jobs, manage crew members, and keep work on schedule Dependable, punctual, and professional Strong attention to detail and quality Able to perform physically demanding outdoor work in varying weather conditions Compensation $19.00-$23.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. Candidates with strong experience in crew leadership, equipment operation, grading, reading plans, and plant/material identification will receive priority consideration.
