Duties Lead and supervise a team of landscape crew members on various construction projects, ensuring tasks are completed safely and efficiently Assign daily responsibilities such as lawn care, planting, pruning, irrigation setup, hardscape installation, and grounds maintenance Operate grounds maintenance equipment including mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation tools with safety and precision Oversee plant identification to ensure proper planting techniques and healthy growth throughout projects Manage irrigation systems—installation, repair, troubleshooting—to maintain optimal landscape health Ensure all team members follow safety protocols and company policies during outdoor work activities Maintain equipment inventory and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed Support crew management by providing training on landscaping techniques, equipment operation, and safety standards Requirements 2-3 years of experience preferred but not necessary. Supervising or team management experience in a landscaping or groundskeeping setting Strong knowledge of plant identification, horticulture practices, tree care, and gardening techniques Ability to operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles required for project transportation Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage crew members efficiently while maintaining high standards of quality and safety Excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks with team members and clients Physical stamina for outdoor work in various weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials when necessary Join us as a Landscape Crew Leader to shape beautiful outdoor spaces while leading a dedicated team.
