Job Description

Monitor fleet performance and ensure timely pickups and deliveries.
Track loads, documentation, and compliance with transportation requirements.
Work collaboratively with farm operations, contractors, and facility staff. + Supervise, mentor, and evaluate transportation drivers.
Conduct onboarding, ongoing training, and performance reviews.
Promote accountability, professionalism, and teamwork.
Address staffing needs, including scheduling, time-off approvals, and coverage. + Enforce all company safety protocols and DOT regulations.
Conduct safety meetings, toolbox talks, and refresher training.
Ensure drivers follow PPE requirements, load securement standards, and spill prevention procedures. + Investigate incidents, near-misses, and safety violations; document corrective actions.
Maintain compliance with environmental regulations related to manure handling and application. + Coordinate fleet inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs. Ensure vehicles, trailers, and pumps are clean, safe, and operational.
Maintain accurate maintenance logs and inspection records. + Maintain driver records, logs, and certifications.

Qualifications To operate our company vehicles, you must have a minimum of a Class A Commercial Driver's License ( CDL ) with Tanker, and air brake endorsements as well as a valid Medical Examiner's Certificate allowing for operation in interstate commerce. (Preferred) + Previous experience in transportation, agricultural operations, or fleet management. + Ability to work in outdoor and agricultural environments. + Experience with manure hauling, nutrient management, or agricultural logistics. + Spill response and environmental compliance knowledge. (Preferred) + Familiarity with GPS routing, dispatch software, or fleet management systems. (Preferred) Must be able to satisfy the English Language Proficiency qualification requirements in 49 CFR §391.11(b)(2) by responding to official inquiries and understanding highway traffic signs and signals in the English language. This includes the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, understand highway traffic signs and signals in English, respond to official inquiries, and make entries on reports and records. - Feedstock Transport Driver is responsible for overseeing all transportation operations related to manure hauling and delivery.
