Fleet Administrator La Frontera-EMPACT SPC Tempe, AZ 85281 Posted about 6 hours New What you'll do: The Fleet Administrator will assist in the day-to-day functions of the department. This includes but is not limited to responding to vehicle and facilities concerns, data entry, clerical and switchboard support for the department. They will ensure all people contacting the agency, either by phone or in person, are greeted or assisted with a caring professional demeanor.
Essential Responsibilities:
Assist in the day-to-day operations and oversight of the agency's fleet. This includes oversight of fleet vendor services and contracts. Inspect vehicles monthly and log inspections using fleet tracking software. Work with vendors and approved mechanics that will perform predictive, preventative, and emergent maintenance as required. Maintain accurate records as it relates to fleet to comply with agency requirements. Includes ensuring all agency vehicles have the required inspections. Effectively manage projects and demonstrate the ability to multitask to meet responsibilities of the position. Monitor and respond to the agency's service desk requests as it relates to fleet. Also assist with facilities service desk tickets; this includes assisting with maintenance and repairs. Demonstrate initiative to work cooperatively and collaboratively as part of a team to meet the needs of the department. Review and approve purchases for fleet. This includes obtaining bids and price comparisons for purchases. Assist and provide support to the fleet and facilities department in other areas as requested. Communicate weekly with direct management regarding workload, work scheduled, pending workload, or any other concerns. Other Duties and Responsibilities as required. What you'll provide: High School Diploma or GED. Minimum 3 years of job-related experience. Previous experience supporting commercial fleet. Must have a valid AZ driver's license with no major infractions in the past three years. Must have regular access to reliable transportation. Must be at least 21 years of age at time of employment.
