Vivalon serves older adults and adults with disabilities by helping them stay active, informed, supported, and nourished—while also meeting their essential transportation needs. Our core services include Rides, Meals, Classes, Care, and Advice. Our Vivalon Rides division delivers safe, reliable, and inclusive transportation—providing medical and assisted rides, custom shuttles for events and communities. We are looking for a Transportation Supervisor for our Marin routes. The Transportation Supervisor provides first-line leadership and day-to-day supervision for a team of bus drivers, ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant transportation services. This role is responsible for monitoring performance, providing coaching and corrective guidance, supporting driver training and development, and responding to operational and field issues as they arise. The Transportation Supervisor works closely with Operations, Safety, and HR to promote high performance, regulatory compliance, and a positive, customer-focused work environment while supporting drivers in meeting service and safety expectations. This position requires a valid Commercial Driver's License.Requirements:
What You'll Do Lead, coach, and support a team of professional bus drivers to ensure safe, reliable, and high-quality service. Monitor driver performance (on-time performance, hours, telematics data) and provide timely coaching and feedback. Support hiring efforts, including interviewing drivers Complete performance evaluations and partner with Operations and HR on employee development and corrective actions. Foster a positive, respectful, and motivating work environment through recognition and engagement. Conduct ride-alongs and follow-ups to support driver success. Serve as supervisor on duty as needed to address real-time operational or safety issues. Support driver training programs and respond to field incidents when needed. Step in as a backup driver when required. What We're Looking For Leadership or supervisory experience in transportation or a related operational environment. Strong knowledge of DOT, ADA, and passenger bus safety regulations. Excellent communication, organizational, and coaching skills. Comfortable working cross-functionally with Operations, Safety, and HR. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to maintain a California CDL with Passenger Endorsement. Clean driving record and ability to pass required drug screenings. High school diploma or equivalent. Why Join Us?
