Job Description

Advanced Mulch, A Benchmark Company, is looking to expand its staff by hiring a CDL driver (Class A or B) for our mulch installation division. We are seeking motivated individuals who possess leadership traits. Using our late model mulch installation trucks, our crews install mulch directly into the required areas on shopping centers, apartment complexes, and HOAs. We are looking for applicants that have a love of the outdoors and possess some landscaping experience. Requirements:
Must possess a valid class A or B CDL High School diploma or equivalent Must be able to consistently pull 50 lbs. (125ft) hose and lift 50 lbs. Self-motivated, hardworking, and detail oriented Positive attitude and a team player Must be eligible to work in the US This position requires travel to meet client requirements in various regions
Responsibilities:
Install bark and other mulches into landscape bed areas on various properties. Move the blower truck safely between loading locations and job sites. Loading/Re-loading/Unloading of truck material. Responsible for 2-3 truckloads per day. Must submit to and pass random DOT drug screenings. Communicate with clients in a professional manner to ensure client satisfaction. Perform precise clean-up of bark installation using leaf blower as needed. Perform routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and ongoing performance and reliability of truck, including pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reporting of repairs as needed. Ability to take constructive feedback from Supervisors. Proactively look for potential hazards, problems and overall safety as well as taking corrective action. Operate the blower truck using a remote to ensure safe operation. Manage time wisely and work independently as well as part of a team.
