Job Description

Position Overview The Mow Crew Lead is responsible for overseeing daily mowing operations, ensuring all properties are serviced with the highest level of quality, safety, and professionalism. This role requires strong leadership, clear communication, and the ability to guide a crew to meet company standards and client expectations. Primary Responsibilities
  • Lead and supervise a mow crew during daily routes.
  • Ensure all mowing, edging, trimming, and blow-down tasks are completed to Pelor quality standards.
  • Perform equipment inspections prior to use; report or resolve any maintenance needs.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of trucks, trailers, and equipment.
  • Communicate effectively with office staff and management regarding job status, challenges, or delays.
  • Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times by all team members.
  • Provide training, feedback, and mentorship to crew members.
  • Document completed work through company systems as required. Requirements
  • Must be drug free and able to
PASS A DRUG TEST AND BACKGROUND CHECK.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in landscaping, mowing, or grounds maintenance.
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Strong understanding of mowing equipment (zero turns, push mowers, edgers, trimmers, blowers, etc.).
  • Valid Florida driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Ability to work outdoors in Florida weather conditions.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical labor. Preferred Qualifications
  • Florida Spray License- Limited Commercial Landscape Maintenance (a plus, not required).
  • Prior supervisory or crew lead experience.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) helpful.
Work Environment This role requires full-time outdoor work and the ability to operate commercial landscaping equipment safely and effectively. Seasonal conditions may include extreme heat, rain, and humidity.
Pay:
$19.00 - $21.00 per hour
