Job Description

Overview MTScapes is looking for a Landscape Enhancements Foreperson to help lead our growing enhancements department. This is a hands-on field leadership role for someone who knows landscape installation, understands production, and takes pride in clean, finished work. You will lead a crew through enhancement projects that may include planting, sod installation, grading, drainage, mulch, pine straw, hardscape support, and general site improvements. We are looking for someone who can operate equipment, keep the crew moving, communicate clearly, and make sure the job is done safely and correctly. This is not just another landscaping job. What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Steady, full-time work Paid time off Paid company holidays Health benefit options Organized work, clear direction, and a growing enhancements department Opportunity to grow with a company that values strong field leadership Responsibilities Lead and supervise a landscape enhancements crew in the field Coordinate daily work, assign tasks, and keep the crew productive Operate equipment including a skid steer and Dingo Install shrubs, trees, sod, mulch, pine straw, and other landscape materials Assist with hardscape work including pavers, walls, grading, edging, drainage, and site preparation Read and follow work orders, plans, and direction from management Monitor job progress and help ensure projects are completed safely, correctly, and efficiently Maintain quality control throughout the job and make sure finished work meets company standards Ensure proper use, care, and basic maintenance of tools, equipment, and machinery Communicate with management regarding job progress, material needs, equipment needs, and jobsite issues Help train, guide, and mentor crew members in proper landscape installation practices Promote safe work practices and make sure company safety expectations are followed Protect customer property, company equipment, and the MTScapes name Skills and Experience Landscape enhancement or landscape installation experience required Experience leading or helping lead a landscape crew strongly preferred Experience operating a skid steer and Dingo required Hardscape experience preferred Experience planting shrubs, trees, laying sod, grading, mulching, and preparing job sites General knowledge of horticulture, plant material, turf, drainage, irrigation, and landscape construction practices Ability to troubleshoot field issues and keep work moving Ability to communicate clearly with managers, team members, and clients when needed Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions Strong attention to safety, quality, and jobsite cleanliness Dependable, organized, and able to follow direction Valid driver's license required Acceptable driving record required Bilingual English and Spanish is a plus, but not required The Right Fit The right person for this role likes seeing progress at the end of the day.
