Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Landscape manager to beautify and maintain our working equestrian estate. Animal experience is a plus, but not necessary. You must be comfortable working around animals and going into pastures with horses and cows. This is a working breeding farm. You will oversee landscape maintenance, irrigation management, and grounds upkeep across the property. This position offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse outdoor work environments while delivering exceptional results. Duties Supervise and coordinate daily landscape maintenance activities, including lawn care, gardening, and groundskeeping tasks. Oversee irrigation system installation, repair, and maintenance to ensure optimal water management across sites. Operate grounds maintenance equipment safely and effectively, including mowers, trimmers, and landscaping tools. Ensure all team members adhere to safety protocols and company policies during outdoor work activities. Maintain horse fencing and the environment for horses, making sure that they are safe. Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance, lawn care, or gardening with a strong knowledge of horticulture principles. Supervising or crew management experience in outdoor or landscaping environments. Ability to identify various plants and troubleshoot irrigation systems effectively. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team in outdoor settings. Valid driver's license with experience operating company vehicles safely. Hands-on experience with grounds maintenance equipment operation and outdoor project execution. Excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks with team members and clients. Physical stamina for outdoor work in varying weather conditions; ability to lift heavy materials as needed. We have a small crew of positive people running this farm, and are looking for an energetic, positive person to join our crew and make the property shine.

From $25.00 per hour
