Overview Join our dynamic team as a Local CDL Class A Truck Driver / Terminal Operations Supervisor and become a vital part of our logistics operation! This position offers an energetic work environment where your driving skills and commitment to excellence will make a real impact every day.
Responsibilities Supervise & Lead:
Oversee the daily work of trailer mechanics, ensuring all maintenance and repairs are completed efficiently and correctly.
Compliance & Safety:
Ensure total compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations regarding vehicle operation and safety.
Fleet Maintenance:
Conduct regular inspections of fleet vehicles to ensure they meet our rigorous safety standards.
Vendor Management:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with vendors for vehicle procurement, maintenance services, and parts supply.
Record Keeping:
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of all vehicle maintenance, repairs, and inspections.
Yard Operations:
Safely maneuver trailers within the yard and move equipment to repair shops/vendors.
Experience License:
Valid Class A CDL is mandatory.
Experience:
A clean driving record maintained for several years (we value consistency and safety).
Leadership:
Ability to oversee a small team of mechanics and hold vendors accountable.
Detail-Oriented:
