SUMMARY :
The Driver Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily transportation operations to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient delivery of products. This role leads and supports drivers through scheduling, dispatch, training, and performance management while ensuring adherence to company policies, traffic laws, and cannabis transportation regulations. The Driver Supervisor partners closely with Fulfillment and Vault teams to meet monthly production and delivery goals, optimize routes, and maintain high standards of customer service. Additionally, this role manages vehicle maintenance, investigates incidents, monitors KPIs, and ensures quality assurance and regulatory compliance across all transportation activities.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Supervises daily operations - Oversees the activities of drivers, including scheduling, dispatching and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Monitors compliance - Ensures that drivers adhere to traffic laws and company policies, intervening as necessary to correct unsafe behavior.
- Implements training for new drivers and provide ongoing training for existing staff to maintain high levels of competency.
- Regularly evaluates driver performance, providing constructive feedback to improve efficiency and safety.
- Manage vehicle maintenance and repair schedules to minimize downtime and ensure all vehicles are in safe working conditions.
- Address customer complaints related to delivery or driver conduct, ensuring customer satisfaction and maintaining the company's reputation.
- Optimize routes to improve fuel efficiency and reduce delivery times.
- Conduct investigations into accidents or incidents involving company vehicles, compiling reports for insurance and regulatory compliance purposes.
- Works closely with Fulfillment and Vault to ensure production and delivery goals are met monthly.
KPI development and analysis, Cannabis Transportation laws and regulatory requirements are met, as well as quality assurance programs are in line with regulators.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred
- 2 years of experience focusing specifically on shipping & receiving and/or inventory tracking systems
- Intermediate Computer Skills - Document Control, Inventory Tracking, Spreadsheets, Microsoft Suite, and G Suite
- Compliance and Safety Oriented
- High Attention to Detail; Thorough with excellent communication skills

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. and push/pull up to 70 lbs.
- Ability to perform the following physical tasks: Periods of prolonged sitting and standing, stooping, stretching, walking, bending, twisting, reaching, performing repetitive motions, and carrying boxes.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
