Crew Lead / Foreman Job Description The Crew Lead / Foreman oversees daily field operations for erosion control projects, ensuring that installation, maintenance, and compliance tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. This role combines hands-on labor with leadership responsibilities, including directing crew members, coordinating equipment, and communicating with supervisors and site contacts. Candidates with CDL experience or equipment-operation skills are strongly preferred. Responsibilities Oversee daily field operations for erosion control projects. Ensure installation, maintenance, and compliance tasks are completed safely and efficiently. Direct and manage crew members to achieve project goals. Coordinate the use of equipment and resources effectively. Communicate regularly with supervisors and site contacts to ensure smooth project execution. Essential Skills Strong leadership abilities. Effective scheduling and organizational skills. Customer service orientation. Proficiency in equipment operation. Experience in construction and erosion control. Additional Skills & Qualifications CDL experience preferred. OSHA 10 certification is preferred but not required. Why Work Here? Work Environment This is an outdoor role that requires working year-round, often traveling to project sites. The standard shift is from 7:30 am to 3:00 pm, or until the job is done. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Olathe, KS. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $32.00/hr.
