Overview Join our dynamic landscaping team as a Landscape Crew Leader and take charge of creating and maintaining beautiful outdoor spaces! In this energetic role, you will lead a team of skilled landscapers, oversee daily operations, and ensure high-quality results on a variety of landscaping projects. Your leadership will inspire teamwork, promote safety, and drive excellence in landscape maintenance, planting, irrigation management, and construction tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your horticultural expertise while managing diverse projects that transform outdoor environments into stunning landscapes. Duties Lead and supervise a crew of landscapers on daily tasks, ensuring efficient workflow and quality standards are met. Oversee landscape maintenance activities including lawn care, pruning, planting, mulching, and seasonal cleanups. Manage irrigation systems, including installation, repairs, adjustments, and seasonal winterization to ensure optimal watering efficiency. Identify various plants, trees, shrubs, and flowers to guide proper care and maintenance practices. Coordinate construction projects such as installing hardscapes, planting beds, or drainage systems while adhering to safety protocols. Train team members on landscaping techniques, safety procedures, and equipment operation to foster skill development. Ensure all work complies with company standards and environmental regulations while maintaining a safe work environment. Skills Proven experience in landscape maintenance, landscaping design, or horticulture with a strong understanding of plant identification and care. Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor settings or construction environments. Knowledge of irrigation systems management and troubleshooting for efficient water use. Skilled in lawn care practices including mowing, aeration, fertilization, and pest control. Ability to manage multiple construction projects from planning to completion with attention to detail. Strong crew management skills with the ability to motivate and develop team members effectively. Familiarity with tree care techniques such as pruning, cabling, and health assessments. Leadership qualities that promote teamwork, safety awareness, and high performance standards. Construction experience related to outdoor projects like fencing or pathways is a plus. $20.00 - $24.00 per hour
