$22-$28/hour, based on experience Maxalea is hiring an experienced Landscape Maintenance Crew Leader to lead a crew while working alongside the team maintaining commercial landscapes throughout the Baltimore area. This is a hands-on leadership position for someone who knows landscape maintenance, can keep a crew productive, and takes pride in delivering quality work. You'll provide daily direction, train team members, operate equipment, communicate with clients and supervisors, and make sure each property is completed safely and to Maxalea standards. What You'll Do Lead and work alongside a landscape maintenance crew Assign daily tasks and keep the team organized and productive Perform mowing, edging, trimming, pruning, mulching, planting, and general landscape maintenance Operate commercial mowers, trimmers, blowers, edgers, and other landscape equipment Train and support new and less-experienced crew members Inspect completed work and ensure quality standards are met Maintain clean, safe, and organized job sites Communicate professionally with clients and supervisors Track labor hours, materials, and job progress Lead toolbox talks and reinforce safe work practices What We're Looking For 2+ years of landscape maintenance experience Previous experience leading or directing a landscape crew preferred Strong knowledge of landscape maintenance practices and equipment Ability to safely operate commercial landscaping equipment Comfortable giving direction and working alongside the crew Dependable, organized, and able to keep a team on task Good communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license required DOT card or equipment certifications are a plus What to Expect This is an active, outdoor position.

Working outside in changing weather conditions Standing, walking, bending, and working on your feet throughout the day Lifting and carrying up to 50 lbs.
