We have been servicing the Baltimore-Washington Metro area for 17 years and growing each year. We have earned a great reputation by providing quality service to our customers. We are looking for new team members that will help us continue to grow. Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and experienced Irrigation Crew Leader to oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of commercial and residential irrigation and low voltage lighting systems. The ideal candidate will lead a team, ensure high-quality workmanship, and deliver excellent customer service while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. Core Responsibilities Supervise and lead a crew of 2-3 team members on daily irrigation and low voltage lighting projects, ensuring tasks are completed to company standards and within scheduled timelines. Install, maintain, and repair automatic underground irrigation and low voltage systems for both residential and commercial properties. Communicate effectively with customers, management, and crew members to ensure project requirements and expectations are met. Complete and submit daily documentation, including job tracking sheets, time records, and material usage reports. Maintain, organize, and care for all assigned vehicles, tools, and equipment, ensuring safe operation and field maintenance. Train, mentor, and evaluate crew members, fostering skill development and upholding company values and professionalism. Diagnose irrigation and low voltage lighting system issues, perform troubleshooting, and implement repair solutions. Ensure all work is performed safely, adhering to company safety policies. Read and interpret scaled drawings and irrigation plans. Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times as the on-site representative of the company. Qualifications 2+ years of experience in irrigation installation. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Valid driver's license with an insurable driving record. Ability to read blueprints and scaled drawings; strong math and problem-solving skills. Working knowledge of irrigation equipment, hydraulics, and water conservation principles. Excellent communication and organizational skills; bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus. Physically able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs. High school diploma or equivalent required; advanced irrigation industry training or certifications preferred. Working Conditions Regular outdoor work in all weather conditions, including heat, cold, and inclement weather.
Standard schedule:
Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-4:00 PM, with some Saturdays required during peak season. Occasional overtime during busy periods.
