Job Description

Job Description The function and purpose of the job is the maintenance, repair, construction, remodeling, or alterations of buildings and equipment of facilities that are located within the CFA Jackson Business Office area of operations. The position will be working directly with other maintenance trades staff and may also be directing and supervising prisoner work crews performing tasks related to the Building trades Crew Leader position. The position may also require travel within the region, which could include overnight stays. Experience Five years of experience in a skilled trade, including one year of experience equivalent to the E9-level in state service. All new employees will complete additional online training to successfully complete their Non-Custody New Employee Training.
