We are looking for a dependable, experienced, and motivated Maintenance Foreman / Crew Leader to lead a crew and help ensure our properties and projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to WPS standards. Job Summary The Maintenance Foreman / Crew Leader is responsible for supervising and working alongside a maintenance crew performing property maintenance, landscaping, repairs, and other assigned projects. This position requires someone who can lead by example, organize daily work, communicate effectively with management and customers, and ensure jobs are completed correctly and on schedule. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a maintenance crew during daily jobs and projects. Assign tasks and provide clear direction to crew members. Work alongside the crew to complete maintenance and property service projects. Ensure work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to WPS quality standards. Maintain a professional job site and appearance. Communicate daily progress, problems, and material needs to management. Inspect completed work and correct issues when necessary. Operate and oversee the proper use of tools, equipment, vehicles, and machinery. Load, transport, and maintain tools, materials, and equipment. Ensure company vehicles and equipment are kept clean and properly maintained. Assist with landscaping, property maintenance, repairs, cleanup, and other general maintenance duties. Communicate professionally with customers when working on their property. Help train and develop crew members. Monitor productivity and keep projects on schedule. Follow and enforce company safety procedures. Assist with material and supply needs for assigned projects. Perform other duties and projects as assigned by President. Qualifications Valid driver's license required. Reliable transportation to work. Previous experience in property maintenance, landscaping, construction, facilities maintenance, or a related field preferred. Previous crew leader, foreman, or supervisory experience preferred. Strong leadership and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead by example and work effectively as part of a crew. Ability to communicate professionally with employees, management, and customers. Strong problem-solving skills. Well organized, dependable, motivated, and self-directed. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to safely operate common maintenance and landscaping tools and equipment. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to recognize problems and determine practical solutions. Must be dependable and report to work on time. Physical Requirements Ability to perform physical labor throughout the workday. Ability to regularly stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb, lift, carry, push, and pull. Ability to lift and carry tools, equipment, materials, and supplies. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including heat and cold. Ability to safely perform physical duties associated with property maintenance and landscaping. Ideal Candidate The ideal candidate is someone who takes pride in their work, does not need constant supervision, and understands the importance of doing a job correctly the first time. We are looking for someone who can manage a crew while also being willing to work alongside them. The right person will be dependable, professional, hardworking, detail-oriented, and comfortable taking responsibility for the quality and completion of each job. Schedule Full-Time - Monday through Friday Additional hours may occasionally be required depending on workload, weather, or project needs.
