This is not an office-only management position . We need someone who knows how to actually move. You should be comfortable driving a box truck, loading and unloading efficiently, protecting customers' homes and belongings, performing basic furniture disassembly/assembly, communicating with customers, and leading a crew to complete jobs safely and professionally. The right person will eventually be trusted to run jobs on their own . What you'll do Lead moving crews of 2-4+ employees Drive and operate our moving trucks Load trucks efficiently and safely Properly protect furniture, walls, floors, doors, and customers' homes Perform basic furniture disassembly and reassembly Safely move heavy and awkward items Communicate professionally with customers throughout the move Handle customer concerns and solve problems on the job Keep the crew productive and organized Make sure jobs are completed efficiently and according to company standards Inspect trucks and equipment before and after jobs Help train new movers and hold crew members accountable Maintain a clean, professional appearance and attitude Complete basic job paperwork/documentation Help the owner improve day-to-day operations as the company continues to grow What we're looking for

Required:

Previous professional moving experience Experience leading or supervising a moving crew Ability to safely lift heavy furniture and work physically for extended periods Valid driver's license and a clean driving record Ability to drive a 26' box truck Reliable transportation to work Strong communication and customer-service skills Reliable, punctual, and dependable Professional attitude and appearance Ability to pass a background check and drug screening Willingness to work some weekends when the schedule requires it Strongly preferred: 3+ years of professional moving experience Experience driving a 26' box truck Experience with commercial and residential moves Experience with furniture disassembly/reassembly Experience training new movers Experience handling customer complaints or damage claims Previous management or crew-lead experience The person we're looking for We're looking for someone who takes ownership.
