Aero Global Logistics (AGL) is currently hiring dispatchers to join our Dedicated Delivery Service Team supporting MOBIS North America. We provide reliable, on-time overnight automotive parts delivery. If you are interested in joining our team, please let us know $21.00 PER HOUR |

POSITION OVERVIEW
The primary function of this position is to ensure proper fleet management of assigned drivers and fleet by leveraging the appropriate dispatch process. The Dispatcher works under the direction of the assigned Manager/Supervisor to efficiently manage dispatch operations, driver safety, and retention. The position requires professional communication, computer, and presentation skills and represents the company positively with employees, customers, and the community while always performing in a safe and ethical manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Manages daily dispatch functions for all assigned drivers and maintains knowledge of processes and procedures required to execute assigned tasks. Communicates delivery and driver issues to the Manager/Supervisor on duty and records issues in a nightly dispatch summary. Works with Safety & Compliance, Recruiting, and Human Resources to exceed driver retention and safety targets. Assists the Leadership Team in holding assigned drivers accountable to DOT regulations, operations, equipment usage, and company policies. Communicates with customers regarding delivery schedule changes or freight exceptions. Achieves assigned KPI targets and demonstrates proficiency in fleet tracking software. Maintains working knowledge of trucking industry and DOT regulations. Manages operational standards for cost control, waste reduction, quality, and safety to ensure on-time departures and deliveries. Works with assigned drivers to meet or exceed service targets. Briefs drivers on route details and expectations and ensures DVIRs, pre- and post-trip inspections, and end-of-route debriefs are completed. Works as a team member to complete action plans assigned by the Terminal Manager/Supervisor and may attend meetings and provide daily activity updates. Adheres to all DOT and OSHA safety rules and regulations. May assist with interviewing, hiring, and training drivers. Assists with analyzing performance gaps and creating action plans to address performance issues. Supports continuous improvement and innovation by improving processes and addressing performance opportunities.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE 2-5
years of experience in a similar role within a high-paced environment. An Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Management, Transportation, or a related field is desired. High school diploma or GED is required.
SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED
Strong interpersonal skills; excellent written and oral communication; ability to manage multiple tasks and projects; excellent personal computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office products including Word, Outlook, and Excel; knowledge of transportation fleet models, customer service, project management, and continuous improvement; experience with DOT regulations and compliance.
