In this role, you will oversee the installation, maintenance, and enhancement of outdoor softscape elements such as plants, trees, lawns, and garden beds. As a Crew Lead, you will guide and supervise a team of landscape professionals to ensure high-quality workmanship, safety, and efficiency on all projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to lead impactful outdoor projects while fostering a collaborative and energetic work environment. Duties Lead and supervise a crew responsible for softscape installation, maintenance, and horticultural care across various landscape projects. Oversee the planting of trees, shrubs, flowers, and turf to ensure proper placement, health, and aesthetic appeal. Perform routine landscape maintenance tasks including mowing, pruning, fertilizing, weed control, and irrigation system adjustments. Coordinate with project managers to plan daily work schedules and ensure timely completion of projects. Conduct quality inspections to maintain high standards in landscaping workmanship and safety protocols. Assist with troubleshooting and repairing irrigation systems to promote healthy plant growth. Mentor team members in horticultural techniques, safety procedures, and best practices for landscape maintenance. Skills Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture with a strong understanding of plant care and landscape design principles. Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments. Knowledge of lawn care techniques including mowing, aeration, fertilization, and pest management. Familiarity with construction processes related to landscape installation and hardscape integration. Experience with tree care practices such as pruning, staking, planting, and health assessment. Ability to operate irrigation systems and troubleshoot common issues effectively. Strong leadership skills combined with excellent communication abilities to motivate team members and coordinate tasks efficiently.
