Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic Transportation Assistant Manager to lead and optimize our transportation operations. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee freight management, coordinate logistics strategies, and implement process improvements that enhance efficiency and safety. Responsibilities Assist with daily transportation and dispatch operations Support driver scheduling, load coverage, and customer service needs Monitor fleet utilization, on-time performance, and operational efficiency Help enforce company safety policies, DOT/FMCSA compliance, and site procedures Coach and support drivers regarding performance, paperwork, and customer expectations Assist with incident investigations, corrective actions, and documentation Coordinate with maintenance regarding equipment availability and repairs Support hiring, onboarding, and training of drivers and operational staff Handle after-hours or on-call operational needs as required Maintain professional communication with customers, drivers, and vendors Qualifications Transportation, logistics, or dispatch experience preferred Tanker or bulk liquid transportation experience strongly preferred Knowledge of
