Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily activities of the landscaping crew, ensuring efficient completion of tasks such as planting, trimming, mowing, and irrigation installation. Lead landscape maintenance efforts including lawn care, pruning, fertilizing, and pest control to maintain healthy and vibrant outdoor spaces. Oversee landscaping projects from start to finish, including site preparation, construction of features like patios or walkways, and planting arrangements. Ensure safety protocols are followed during all operations to maintain a secure work environment for the team. Provide training and mentorship to crew members on landscaping techniques, equipment use, and best practices in horticulture and tree care. Conduct quality inspections to guarantee that work meets company standards and client expectations. Maintain equipment and tools, ensuring they are properly used and regularly serviced for optimal performance. Requirements Proven experience in landscape maintenance, gardening, or horticulture with a strong understanding of plant care and landscape design principles. Supervising experience leading teams in outdoor or construction environments. Knowledge of lawn care techniques, irrigation systems, tree care practices, and general landscaping methods. Ability to operate landscaping machinery and tools safely and efficiently. Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication skills to coordinate tasks effectively with team members and clients. Physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions for extended periods.
