Transportation and Technology Supervisor Town of Goldsby Goldsby, OK Job Details Full-time $20 - $22 an hour 1 day ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance Paid time off Vision insurance Life insurance Retirement plan Qualifications Management IT service management IT infrastructure Contracts Cybersecurity Full Job Description The Transportation & Technology Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the Town's transportation infrastructure and technology services, including streets and roadways, the municipal airport, and municipal information technology systems. This position serves as a working supervisor, providing day-to-day oversight, hands-on support, and coordination with staff, contractors, regulatory agencies, and the Town's Managed Service Provider (MSP). The position requires practical knowledge of municipal operations, the ability to balance multiple functional areas, and strong communication skills to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant services in a small-town environment. Applicant must display a willingness, aptitude and self-discipline to learn all aspects of town government. • Streets & Transportation Operations a. Supervise and participate in maintenance and repair of municipal streets, alleys, sidewalks, drainage systems, signage, and rights-of-way b. Schedule work activities and assign tasks to streets personnel c. Operate and oversee the use of municipal vehicles, equipment, and tools d. Inspect streets and transportation infrastructure to identify maintenance needs and safety concerns e. Coordinate traffic control, work zone safety, and emergency repairs f. Maintain records of work performed, materials used, and equipment maintenance g. Respond to citizen requests and concerns related to streets and drainage h. Assist with emergency response during storms, accidents, or disasters • Municipal Airport Operations a. Supervise day-to-day operations of the Town's municipal airport b. Coordinate maintenance of runways, taxiways, aprons, lighting, fencing, and grounds c. Ensure compliance with FAA, state, and local regulations and applicable grant requirements d. Monitor airfield conditions and coordinate issuance of NOTAMs as required e. Serve as the primary point of contact for pilots, tenants, vendors, consultants, and regulators f. Administer hangar leases, tie-down agreements, and airport-related contracts g. Maintain required inspections, logs, and operational records h. Assist with airport budgeting, planning, and capital improvement activities • Information Technology and MSP Coordination a. Serve as the Town's primary point of contact for information technology services b. Coordinate directly with the Town's Managed Service Provider (MSP) for support, maintenance, upgrades, and troubleshooting c. Submit, track, and follow up on IT service requests d. Assist with user onboarding/offboarding, access control, and basic equipment setup e. Maintain inventory of IT equipment, software, and licenses f. Coordinate cybersecurity practices with the MSP, including backups and incident response g. Provide basic technology assistance to staff prior to MSP escalation • Administrative and Supervisory Responsibilities a. Supervise assigned staff and coordinate contracted services b. Assist with preparation and administration of operational budgets c. Support purchasing and procurement in accordance with Town policy d. Maintain accurate records, reports, and documentation e. Coordinate projects, consultants, and vendors across assigned areas f. Develop and recommend operational procedures and improvements g. Perform related duties as assigned by the Town Administrator h. Maintain a clean and safe work environment i. Ensures that ordinances and policies of the Town as well as all applicable state and federal laws are observed and enforced.
Pay:
$20.00 - $22.00 per hour
