Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Remodel Crew Leader to oversee and coordinate residential and commercial remodeling projects. In this vital role, you will lead a team of skilled tradespeople, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. Your leadership will drive productivity, foster teamwork, and uphold safety protocols while managing day-to-day operations on active job sites. Responsibilities Lead and supervise remodeling crews, assigning tasks and monitoring progress to ensure timely project completion. Coordinate with project managers, clients, and subcontractors to align project goals and expectations. Conduct thorough construction inspections to verify quality standards, safety compliance, and adherence to blueprints and schematics. Oversee the use of hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively on-site. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings for accurate execution of remodeling tasks such as framing, drywall installation, flooring, tile laying, roofing, masonry, stucco application, and fixture installation. Ensure all work complies with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies. Manage material inventories, order supplies as needed, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Requirements Proven experience in construction management or remodeling projects with strong leadership skills. Extensive knowledge of construction techniques including carpentry (frame carpentry, trim carpentry), concrete finishing, masonry, roofing, plastering, caulking, glazing (glass installation), cabinet installation, flooring installation, tile laying, welding, restoration work, hardscape construction, and drywall finishing. Proficiency with bluebeam software for digital plans review or similar construction management tools. Ability to read blueprints and schematics accurately to guide project execution. Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools essential for various trades within remodeling projects. Familiarity with construction estimating processes to assist in project planning. Strong understanding of safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and site safety standards. Excellent communication skills for coordinating with team members and clients effectively. Valid experience in construction site supervision with a focus on quality control and safety compliance.
