• see multiple residential landscape construction projects throughout the Charlotte metro area. Position Summary The Irrigation Technician / Crew Leader is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repair
• ing, and maintaining residential irrigation systems while leading a small crew on irrigation, drainage, and landscape installation projects. This position serves as the primary field leader, working closely with customers, crews, sub
• contractors, vendors, and office staff to ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to Vision Design Build's quality standards.

The Irrigation Technician / Crew Lader reports directly to the Project Manager and plays a key role in maintaining our reputation for excellence. Responsibilities Irrigation Installation & Service Install complete residential irrigation systems from plans and specifications. Diagnose and repair irrigation system issues, including leaks, broken lines, valves, sprinkler heads, controllers, wiring, backflow prevention and pumps. Program and troubleshoot irrigation controllers, including smart irrigation systems. Perform seasonal system start-ups, adjustments, and winterization when applicable. Conduct irrigation audits to improve system performance and water efficiency. Test and adjust sprinkler coverage for proper operation. Knowledge of Hunter and Rainbird productions Crew Leadership Lead and supervise a small installation crew. Delegate daily tasks and maintain productivity. Ensure crew members follow company quality and safety standards. Train and mentor less experienced employees. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site. Project Support Read irrigation and landscape plans. Conduct and maintain irrigation supply stock and material lists for projects. Coordinate with Project Manager regarding project schedules and material needs. Assist with drainage installations, grading, landscape lighting, planting, and other land

• scape construction tasks as needed. Maintain accurate records of completed work, materials used, and service recommen
• dations. Communicate professionally with homeowners regarding system operation and re
• pairs. Be able to map new and existing irrigation systems Wire tracing ability a plus Equipment & Safety Operate trenchers, mini excavators, skid steers, compact equipment, and other land
• scape tools safely.

Maintain company vehicles, trailers, and irrigation equipment. Ensure all work complies with local plumbing and irrigation codes. Follow OSHA safety guidelines and company safety policies. Qualifications Required Minimum 3-5 years of irrigation installation and repair experience. Previous experience leading or supervising a landscape or irrigation crew.

Strong understanding of:

o Residential irrigation systems o Valves o Controllers o Wiring and troubleshooting o Spray heads and rotors o Drip irrigation o Backflow devices Experience reading irrigation and landscape plans. Ability to operate landscape equipment safely. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift 50 lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Preferred Irrigation certification (state or national). Experience installing drainage systems. Experience with landscape lighting installation. Bilingual (English/Spanish). Experience operating mini excavators and skid steers.
