Job Description

About This Role We are seeking a City Manager to operate our airport and off airport car rental operations in Columbia, SC. The City Manager's primary duty includes: oversee daily airport and off airport operations and hold accountability for all performance outcomes, personnel management, sales performance, and fleet management. Prior Car Rental management experience preferred .
Responsibilities:
Manage airport and off airport location
KPIs:
fleet utilization, out of service, auction load, recall, revenue, upsell rates, customer satisfaction Lead and champion process improvement efforts to increase efficiency and align operations with business needs Directly supervises all airport staff and 3 off airport managers and teams Schedule, coach, and evaluate performance of all team members; administer corrective action and terminations in compliance with internal company policies Promote and support individual goals and development plans for team members Approve timecards, overtime, attendance, and time-off requests Coach and motivate the team daily on upselling vehicle upgrades, protection products, fuel options, and add-on services Drive incremental revenue by fostering a sales-focused culture where every customer interaction is an opportunity Track and report incremental revenue performance against airport location targets Review airport location financial data and KPI's to identify trends and opportunities to improve profitability Develop strategies to grow revenue and control expenses within budget Ensure team adherence to all safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements About Our Benefits We offer a competitive and comprehensive benefits package designed to support our employees' health and wellbeing (based on eligibility requirements) including: Company provided vehicle Paid Time Off - 16 hours at 3 months, 64 hours at 6 months, 120 hours at 1 year Comprehensive Health Insurance including Medical, Dental, Vision, Hospital Indemnity, Flexible Spending Accounts, Short Term Disability Company-Paid Life and AD&D Insurance 401(k) with up to 4% company match Employee Assistance Program Training and Development Minimum Qualifications College degree preferred (or equivalent work experience) 3-5 years prior management experience Valid driver's license with acceptable Motor Vehicle Report At t least 21 years old and legally authorized to work in the US Experience with scheduling, workforce management in airport environment Proven track record of revenue growth or customer satisfaction improvement Excellent communication skills Able to work all required shifts including nights, weekends, holidays Excel at solving problems with precision, speed, and a positive attitude Computer skills including data entry, typing, and experience using Microsoft Word and Excel Enjoy working closely with fellow team members and customers Equal Opportunity Employer Equal Opportunity Employer.
