$57,792 to $86,688 annually, plus bonus opportunity As a Driver Supervisor, this individual, is responsible for driver assignments, scheduling, and coordinating product movements to customers, vendors, and distribution centers through the efficient use and management of company equipment, fleet, and drivers, in addition to various duties as determined by the Transportation Manager.WHAT YOU'LL DO
Adhere to all guaranteed inbound product movements, such as inbound vendor purchase orders for both Dot Foods and internal company transfers Manage driver assignment for all loads, inbound and outbound Assist in the coordination of product transfer to other distribution centers Perform specific duties in measuring and reporting driver payroll, service levels, fleet performance, etc. Leads continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste.YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree or equivalent Dot experience Knowledge of D.O.T., Federal and State regulations for drivers and equipment Working knowledge of federal Hours Of Service regulations Ability to work in a constantly changing environmentYOU MAY ALSO HAVE
High school diploma or general equivalency degree Effective communication skills Proficient in Microsoft Office applications Effective planning, organizational, analytical and problem solving skillsROLE SPECIFICS
Travel- Occasional overnight travel to other company facilities or outside facilities for training. Must have ability to travel independently as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train. Schedule
- Tuesday-Saturday; 8:00 am
- 5:00 pm with ability to work flexible hours (weekend, night shift, and on-call) based upon facility needs
