Job Description
Yellowstone Landscape is hiring a Crew Leader to oversee commercial landscape construction projects. Lead a small crew installing hardscapes, plantings, irrigation, and site enhancements for HOAs, resorts, and commercial properties. Coordinate daily tasks, read plans, ensure quality workmanship, and enforce safety standards. Operate and troubleshoot landscape and construction equipment while maintaining schedules and material use. Train and mentor crew members, communicate with supervisors and clients, and uphold Yellowstone's high standards for professionalism, teamwork, and sustainable, attractive outdoor environments. Responsibilities Lead and supervise a landscape construction crew on commercial job sites Install hardscapes, plant materials, and irrigation systems per plans and specs Ensure all crew members follow company and OSHA safety standards Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot landscape and construction equipment Review site plans, schedule daily work, and track materials and time Inspect work quality and complete punch-list items to client standards Train, coach, and mentor crew members to build skills and productivity Communicate progress and site issues to supervisors and clients Maintain clean, organized, and secure job sites Support continuous improvement of processes and work methods Required Skills Landscape construction Hardscape installation Irrigation installation and repair Equipment operation (skid steer, trencher, mini-excavator) Blueprint and plan reading Jobsite safety and OSHA practices Crew leadership and scheduling Quality control and site inspection Basic grading and drainage Material handling and site logistics
