Commercial Landscape Assistant Crew Leader Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced Commercial Landscape Crew Leader to oversee daily operations and ensure the successful completion of landscape projects. The Crew Leader will be responsible for supervising team members, maintaining job site safety, and ensuring high-quality work in accordance with company standards. This position requires strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills, as well as hands-on experience in commercial landscaping.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead, supervise, and work alongside a crew of landscapers to complete commercial landscaping projects efficiently and effectively. Ensure job sites are safe, clean, and meet all company and industry safety standards. Train and mentor crew members on best practices, proper equipment usage, and safety procedures. Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as mowers, trimmers, blowers, and irrigation systems. Monitor project progress and quality, making adjustments as needed to meet deadlines and client expectations. Communicate effectively with clients, managers, and crew members regarding project status and requirements. Ensure the proper use of materials and supplies, minimizing waste and maintaining cost-efficiency. Troubleshoot and resolve any on-site issues that may arise. Maintain accurate records of work completed, time tracking, and inventory usage.

Qualifications:

3+ years of experience in commercial landscaping or a related field. Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred. Strong knowledge of landscaping techniques, plant care, irrigation, and equipment operation. Ability to read and interpret landscape plans and specifications. Excellent problem-solving, time management, and organizational skills. Ability to work in various weather conditions and perform physically demanding tasks. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record (CDL preferred but not required). Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
