Our proven methodologies, strong safety culture, and professional execution allow us to bring our customers' biggest ideas to life. The Crew Lead plays a central role in this mission. In this position, you will lead and work alongside a dedicated installation crew, ensuring each project is completed safely, efficiently, and to Grid Mark's quality standards. You will coordinate daily tasks, guide team members, communicate with project managers, and keep the crew aligned so projects finish on time and on budget.
Schedule & Compensation:
Work hours primarily 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM 40‑hour work week with the ability to work overtime Reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License required Paid vacation, paid holidays, and sick leave Salary dependent on experienceKey Responsibilities:
Lead a crew through daily installation tasks, ensuring clarity, safety, and efficiency. Coordinate jobsite workflow, delegate tasks, and verify work quality throughout the project. Serve as the primary point of contact between the crew and project management. Ensure all materials, tools, and equipment are prepared before leaving the shop. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized jobsite at all times. Troubleshoot issues on site and make informed decisions to keep the project moving. Train and mentor newer installers, reinforcing Grid Mark's standards and expectations. Uphold all safety protocols and ensure crew compliance.Qualifications:
Reliable transportation and a valid Driver's License. Minimum of 1 year construction experience. Ability to operate material‑handling equipment (pallet jack, dolly, hand truck). Working knowledge of tools, equipment, and installation techniques. High school diploma or equivalent. Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills. Basic computer skills for documentation and communication. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to resolve issues professionally. Ability to read and write in English. Clear verbal and written communication skills suitable for leading a team.Minimum Physical Requirements:
Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions, as well as indoors in dusty or noisy environments. Ability to work in high places, tight spaces, confined areas, and other challenging locations. Ability to lift and move materials up to 60 pounds. Ability to frequently stand, kneel, twist, crouch, squat, bend, stoop, and climb.Job Type:
