This is a working leadership position that requires strong installation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to effectively communicate with team members and customers. The Crew Lead is responsible for maintaining production schedules, ensuring quality workmanship, promoting a safe work environment, and representing Krumm Exteriors professionally on every job site. Primary Responsibilities Lead and coordinate daily activities of the gutter installation crew Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to company quality standards Remove existing gutters and related materials as required Install seamless gutters, downspouts, leaf protection systems, and related accessories Measure, fabricate, and customize materials for proper installation Create custom build-outs and solutions as needed in the field Train, mentor, and assist crew members in developing installation skills Communicate effectively with homeowners and project stakeholders Maintain job site cleanliness and organization throughout the project Load, unload, and properly maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles Complete projects within established timelines while maintaining quality standards Follow company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines Assist with other related duties as assigned Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred Previous gutter installation experience required Prior leadership or crew lead experience preferred Strong understanding of installation techniques, materials, and job site safety Ability to read measurements accurately and perform basic construction math Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and make sound decisions Strong communication and interpersonal skills Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record required Ability and willingness to obtain DOT certification is a plus Ability to work comfortably at heights and on ladders Ability to routinely lift up to 100 pounds and perform physically demanding work throughout the day Working Conditions This position is primarily performed outdoors and requires working in varied weather conditions throughout the year. Work may involve climbing ladders, lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, bending, kneeling, and performing repetitive physical tasks.
